1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Rizen Techno (“we”, “us”) for the Motovexa mobile app and this website (together, “Motovexa”). By downloading or using Motovexa you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Motovexa.
2. Who can use Motovexa
Motovexa is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use it. You may not use Motovexa if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
3. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Motovexa on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.
4. Information only — please verify
- Recalls are shown for a vehicle's make, model and model year. Not every vehicle of that model is affected. Always confirm whether a recall applies to your specific vehicle at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with an authorized dealer. Marking a recall as “done” in the app is your own note and does not prove that a repair was completed.
- Vehicle data (specifications, ratings, fuel economy) comes from third parties and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Motovexa is not a vehicle history report and does not show accident, title, ownership or odometer history.
- OBD2 codes and warning lights are general explanations. The same code or symbol can mean different things on different vehicles. Have a qualified mechanic diagnose problems. If a red warning light is on or the vehicle feels unsafe, stop safely and seek help.
- Maintenance intervals are typical values. Follow your vehicle owner's manual.
- Your records — services, fuel logs, tire and battery details and the Car passport — are entered by you and are not verified by us. If you share them, you are responsible for their accuracy.
- Notifications may be delayed or not delivered. Do not rely on Motovexa as your only source of recall or maintenance information.
5. Independent app; third-party data and trademarks
Motovexa is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, or any vehicle manufacturer. Public data is presented as received from those sources. Vehicle brand and model names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify vehicles.
6. Advertising
Motovexa is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob, shown under the choices described in our Privacy Policy. Interacting with ads is optional. You agree not to interfere with ads or to generate artificial ad impressions or clicks.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Motovexa for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone's rights;
- use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to make bulk lookups or place unreasonable load on Motovexa, our relay server or third-party data services;
- copy, modify, resell or redistribute Motovexa, or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with their security or operation;
- use the app while driving in a way that distracts you — scan and read reports only when safely parked.
8. Intellectual property
Motovexa, including its software, design, text, icons and the Motovexa name and logo, is owned by Rizen Techno and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks. Public government data remains subject to its own terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services and links
Motovexa relies on and links to third-party services (for example NHTSA, FuelEconomy.gov, Google services, maps and dealer websites). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and policies apply.
10. Changes and availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of Motovexa at any time, for example to fix problems, comply with law or improve the app. Some updates may be required to keep using the app. Third-party data services may be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that Motovexa will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motovexa is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rizen Techno and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, or for decisions you make based on information in Motovexa (including about buying, selling, driving or repairing a vehicle). Our total liability for any claim relating to Motovexa is limited to US$50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Rizen Techno against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of Motovexa or your breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
You can stop using Motovexa at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue Motovexa. Sections 4, 5 and 8–17 survive termination.
15. App store terms
Your use of Motovexa is also subject to the terms of the store you obtained it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store). If those terms conflict with these Terms regarding your use of the store, the store's terms prevail.
If you use Motovexa on an Apple device: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Motovexa or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If Motovexa fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling any claims relating to Motovexa, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh — except that if you are a consumer, you also keep any protections and the right to bring proceedings that the law of your country of residence gives you. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will give notice in the app or on this website. Continuing to use Motovexa after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
